Topicus Opens New Hub in Leiden to Strengthen Collaboration in Healthcare

30 maart 2026

Topicus has opened a new hub in Leiden where multiple healthcare teams within the Topicus Healthcare division will collaborate more closely on digital healthcare innovation. The location on Binnenvestgracht brings together colleagues from DEARhealth, MLink, and other parts of Topicus Healthcare. By physically bringing these teams closer together, an environment is created that stimulates knowledge sharing and accelerates the development of innovative healthcare solutions.

New hub strengthens collaboration and innovation within Topicus Healthcare

With the new location in Leiden, Topicus offers a workspace where diverse disciplines within the Topicus Healthcare division come together under one roof. This strategic choice promotes short lines of communication, faster coordination, and the ability to collaborate more quickly on products that contribute to a future-proof healthcare chain.

Facilities specialist Elise Oude Scholten was closely involved in the creation of the hub. “From the start, we looked at how we could create a place where colleagues could easily find each other. The first few weeks show that this way of collaborating has an immediate effect.”

Kick-off in Leiden lays foundation for collaboration

During the opening, colleagues got to know each other through informal meetings and speed dates. This immediately led to new connections and ideas for joint projects within healthcare. The energy of the kick-off confirms the importance of physical collaboration for developing digital healthcare solutions.

Flexible workspace for all of Topicus

The new hub is not intended solely for the permanent teams in Leiden. Colleagues from other regions can use it to work flexibly, consult, or collaborate on projects. As a result, Leiden is evolving into a central hub where colleagues can easily meet and where innovation within the healthcare chain is actively strengthened.
