Topicus Invests in Compli

01 juni 2026

Topicus has invested in Compli, a software company that helps organizations manage complex laws and regulations within supply chains. With this investment, Topicus is taking its first step into a new domain outside its existing core markets of finance, healthcare, and education.

Compli develops software that helps organizations meet increasingly complex compliance requirements, with a specific focus on sectors where prime contractors bear responsibility for what happens further down the supply chain with subcontractors. The platform supports the setup, execution, and monitoring of compliance processes across the entire supply chain and integrates them into daily operations.

The investment is part of a broader strategy for Topicus. The company focuses on young startups with a working product and a clear vision, but limited commercial scale. Topicus takes a minority stake and supports these companies with expertise, networking, and mentorship.

“With Compli, we are investing in entrepreneurship and innovation in a domain where we can make an impact with smart IT. We actively support the entrepreneur in realizing his growth plan with the knowledge we have gained from building the existing Topicus platforms."

Hugo Brand
Director at Topicus

Compli will continue to operate independently. The collaboration with Topicus is focused on knowledge sharing and strengthening the organization and the product, without integration into existing Topicus platforms.

“Topicus’ involvement gives us the freedom to further develop our solution and grow responsibly, while maintaining our own course and culture.”

Ruud van der Molen
Founder Compli

With this investment, Topicus underscores that, in addition to its focus on existing markets, it maintains room to explore future growth opportunities. Questions about this investment can be directed to Topicus’s M&A team.
