New acquisition for Topicus in birth care

Topicus completed its acquisition of M Link B.V. on Wednesday, March 5. M Link is the party behind the two largest digital information systems within obstetrics in the Netherlands: Orfeus and Onatal.The user platforms Zwangerenportaal.nl and 24Baby.nl, which are part of M Link, are also part of the acquisition.

New domain expertise

The acquisition of M Link offers Topicus not only new domain expertise and a strong strategic position in the obstetrics domain, but also many new opportunities.'With the addition of M Link, Topicus is broadening its position in healthcare towards obstetrics. This offers many opportunities for both M Link's products and Topicus' existing products, allowing us to make the impact of our services on this specific target group even greater and more valuable,' says Wouter de Jong, director of Topicus Care.

Positive impact

Topicus provides support in organizing regional care.The acquisition of M Link will further expand the services that Topicus offers with its platforms, including within youth care and primary care, to include the digital information provision around the obstetric process. With this, we aim for even more positive impact with IT within Healthcare.
