Our CEO, Daan Dijkhuizen, has been appointed Chief AI Officer of Constellation Software Inc. and will join Constellation’s leadership team. Topicus is an independent software organization within the international software group Topicus.com, which is part of Constellation. Daan will also remain CEO of Topicus and Managing Partner of VMS Ventures, Constellation’s investment arm.
In his new role, Daan will focus primarily on further expanding VMS Ventures as an investment vehicle for AI-native software companies in specific vertical markets.
In addition, he will support companies within the Constellation group in applying AI to their products and internal operations, with appropriate measures for quality, security, and compliance with laws and regulations.
Daan also encourages knowledge sharing among Constellation's operating groups—the groups of software companies that make up Constellation, including Topicus. By sharing best practices in AI, companies learn from each other's insights and applications.
“AI offers abundant opportunities for the further development of software and the way we work. Within Constellation, including Topicus, we have a wealth of knowledge and experience spread across various companies and markets. In my new role, I look forward to connecting that knowledge even more effectively, supporting the application of AI within our companies, and investing in AI-native software companies through VMS Ventures.”
